Ryan MarshRyan Marsh, DDS

Dr. Ryan Marsh grew up in Ankeny Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa for undergraduate studies, where he received a full tuition scholarship while completing his studies in business as well as pre-dental education.

Dr. Marsh entered the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in the fall of 2003 and graduated in 2007 with his D.D.S. degree. He received the Research Support Award scholarship all four years and also served as a tutor in pre-clinical studies his last 3 years. He graduated with several honors including the Alpha Omega award for the highest scholastic standing of all students in his graduating class, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Dental Student Award, and was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental fraternity.

Dr. Marsh entered his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in July 2007 and completed his training in June 2011. He trained at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Iowa City, as well as operating at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry Oral Surgery Clinic. During residency he was actively involved in research pertaining to the treatment of Odontogenic Keratocysts. Dr. Marsh is a board certified Diplomat of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the American Dental Education Association and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Outside of work, his personal interests including spending time with his wife Alison and their children, Jaxon, Avalyn and Brooklyn. Other interests include cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, golf, and hunting.
